No Time to Blog :(

I have hated that I have had no time to blog or read all my bloggy friends blogs! Life is super busy right now and here is why:

A) I am directing a huge musical right now. I am doing Funny Girl, which is the season opener for the outdoor SCERA shell. Did I say it was huge.....big production numbers, like 20 different locations and I won't even go into the costumes, rehearsing 6 days a week but I have a wonderful production team and feel really good about the show. We open June 10.

B)School is winding down for the kids. Just 1 1/2 more weeks. Really? how many projects and programs can we do at the last minute. :)

C)Just got done with the Spring Beehive Bazaar at Thanksgiving Point. I love this show. I sold out of almost everything. Thanks to all my friends who stopped by. Thanks to Noelle and Molly for doing such a fun (EASY) show! I did take a few pics of my booth with my iPhone, so they are not great, but thought I would post them anyway. Also, Dotter 1&2 partcipated and sold really adorable bottle cap necklaces they made. They are waiting for their check and can hardly stand it! Did I tell you they sold out of the 85 necklaces they made? They sold them for $3.25 each. So if you do the math, you can see why they are excited for their soon to be increased cash flow. I think it is one of the best handmade craft shows in Utah, so plan to come for the December show.

D) Dotter 1&2 were cast in a summer production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, so we went through a weekend of auditions. There show will go into rehearsal soon.

I will be back with Artful Thursdays, (I miss all you guys!) and I am looking forward to a restful summer (after June 10 of course!). Hope everyone is staying sane as we move into summer. (Which by the way it still feels like a cold spring right now in Utah.) I need SUNSHINE!

Happy Creating!
